Our Diamonds

Please note we have discontinued the use of lab-grown diamonds in our jewelry. Moving to natural diamonds only was a decision taken intentionally and consciously by our founder Priyanka Mehta. Our pieces are meant to be cherished and we believe nature has a role to play in the provenance of each piece. The diamonds we use are superior to those available in most commercial jewelry due to our unique access and expertise. We are located in Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world. We pride ourselves in selecting the best and making sure that we are able to trace our diamonds from mine to market.

Our Gold

All our pieces are crafted with 18k gold, recycled from electrical components. We are committed to sustainability and will gladly recycle our customers own gold to create new jewelry. The process of recycling gold conserves natural resources and reduces the environmental impact associated with gold mining. It also provides a more sustainable source of gold compared to mining for new gold deposits. Humans have already mined 170 million kilos or 375 million pounds of gold from the earth. We use only gold that already exists to create our nue jewelry.

Our Craft

We believe in the celebration of human craft. Goldsmiths have been making jewelry by hand for thousands of years dating back to at least 4000 BC. It is part of our collective history and was widespread in ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Sumerians, and Nubians. All our pieces are hand crafted by master artisans in our atelier in Antwerp. By keeping our production local we are able to customize every design. Each piece of Nue jewelry is made meticulously by hand and results in a feather light heirloom that will accompany you on all your daily adventures.
